My path into shamanic healing began as part of a spiritual search—an exploration of where my faith truly came from. That journey led me not only into the unseen realms but also into a deep remembering. I wasn’t just discovering something new… I was reconnecting with something ancient within me.
I’ve formally trained in Celtic Shamanism, which aligns with my roots here in the British Isles. But my soul’s lineage is far more eclectic. I believe I’ve practiced this work in many lifetimes—as a Volva or Seer in the Norse tradition, and through a deep connection to South and Central American shamanism, particularly through my bond with cacao as medicine.
In this life, I am simply Joe Mugan—a human being living in the North of England, offering shamanic healing from a place of humility, service, and integrity. This is not about ego. It’s not about cultural appropriation. It’s about authenticity—about only sharing what I’m deeply connected to and what I’ve embodied through lived experience and soul memory.
I honour the Indigenous and ancestral traditions that have preserved these sacred practices. My intention is not to imitate or claim them, but to walk my own path with respect, openness, and truth, weaving the threads of past lives, teachings, and personal experience into a healing practice that is real, honest, and aligned.
